The funeral service and merchandise can be selected and the family will receive a Pre-Need Itemization Statement which outlines the costs transferred from the funeral home’s General Price List.

Pre-payment of funeral expenses allows each family to set aside funds in an interest bearing account to be used for payment of funeral expenses at the time of need. The funds are set aside in revocable or irrevocable funds according to the individual’s Medicaid status. The family can also select the option of pre-arrangement, selecting merchandise and services with no funds set aside at that time for payment of funeral expenses.
